Directions
From M1 North come off at Jn 13 (A421 Bedford). Follow signs for Husborne Crawley & Woburn, and then for Leighton Buzzard (A4012, crossing A5 at Hockcliffe). Follow signs on Leighton Buzzard by-pass for A418 Aylesbury. In Aylesbury, follow signs for Wycombe & Princes Risborough A4010. After Monks Risborough you will come into Princes Risborough from the north-east and see the Tesco store ahead of you at the roundabout. We are on the left just before the roundabout, the Church and the Walsingham Hall. See parking notes below
From M40 North come off at Jn 8a signposted for Aylesbury A418. Follow A418 through Tiddington to Thame, left at first roundabout, third exit at second roundabout, it is not well signposted but you do NOT want to be going to Long Crendon or Aylesbury. Take next left for A4129 Longwick & Princes Risborough. Shortly after going under a railway bridge you will come to the roundabout with Tesco on your right. Turn left towards Aylesbury and we are the first flint cottage on the right, just past the Church and Hall. See parking notes below.
From M25 East come off at Jn 20 Hemel Hempstead and Watford. Take A41 north-west towards Aylesbury. Pass the main Tring exit and at the next one, take B4009 signed for Halton and Wendover - there is a left turn to be taken half-way down the hill.In Wendover, jink left and right following signs for Great Missenden & Amersham, but carry straight ahead at the top of the High Street rather than turning left – head for Ellesborough. Turn left when you come to the A4010 signposted for Risborough and Wycombe, go straight over one roundabout, and look for the Tesco store ahead of you as you come into Risborough. We are on the left just before the Church and the Walsingham Hall.. See parking notes below
From High Wycombe and M40 Jn 4 (which is linked to the M4 via the Maidenhead & Marlow by-pass A423M) , follow signs for A4010 Aylesbury & Princes Risborough (approx 10 miles). In the village, you pass an Esso garage on your right and then turn left at a roundabout. Turn right at the next roundabout and we are the first flint cottage on the right just past the Church and hall. See parking notes below.
PARKING – If you are coming to see us during school holidays, at a weekend or in the evening, there may be some room in the narrow yard on the right of our building. At all other times it will be full of school staff cars. The church car park is not available during the daytime. The only nearby unrestricted on-road parking , apart from (if you're lucky) a couple of small "one-hour-on-weekdays" bays just round the corner, is right at the end of the side road called "The Retreat", 4/5 minutes walk away on the left in the Wycombe direction. Or, there is "The Avenue" back up the Aylesbury Road, again about 5 minutes walk. |
