Come join us for lux.leap this summer for an opportunity for you to discover more about your faith in the style of the Olympics.
As Britain welcomes the world to the Olympics 2012 and the Pope kicks off the year of 'faith' for the whole Catholic Church, NYMO are grabbing the opportunity to combine the two!
Using sports, workshops, talks, activities, games, music and prayer, and we will find out more about our faith, what we believe, and taking that 'leap'. During the weekend we have the opportunity to celebrate Mass with Bishop Peter and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
You don't have to be sporty or know all about your faith - come as you are and join nearly 100 other young people from across the Diocese for this unique opportunity, and we will learn together.
lux.leap is open to all young people aged 11-18 years old from anywhere across the Diocese of Northampton. So whether you are from Luton or Slough, Corby or Gerrards Cross, Dunstable or Northampton or anywhere in between you are welcome to join us for this fun packed weekend to celebrate our faith. It is taking place on 29th June - 1st July at Thomas Becket Catholic School in Northampton and costs just £45 if you are camping, or £80 if you are staying in the hotel. For more info please contact Liz on 01844 273337 or neil@nymo.org. The booking forms are downloadable as PDFs from the foot of the page - please also complete a Consent/Code of Conduct form and a Medical Consent form and send in with your booking forms. Thank you! |
