Update: as of the 22nd February, the Congress itself has now sold out, as well as our event for breakfast with Bishop Peter... Please keep checking back for a report from the day
In February 2010, the newly formed 'CYMFed' (Catholic Youth Ministry Federation) will be bringing together youth leaders from around the country for a national congress.
The day will be a fantastic opportunity to hear more from amazing and inspiring speakers including:
- Bob and Maggie McCarty (leaders of the American youth ministry federation) - Fr Timothy Radcliffe (renowned writer and speaker) - Abbot Christopher Jamison (Abbot of Worth, and reluctant star of 'The Monastery') - David Wells (a highly sought-after international speaker)
... and will conclude with a service led by Archbishop Vincent Nichols.
The day will bring together Catholics working with young people from around the country, and will have times of prayer, worship and reflection led by Catholic liturgists and the acclaimed 'Rise' drama group.
The 'Hope' Congress will be taking place in Friends Meeting House, Euston, and will cost £14.00 for bookings made via CYMFed. For more information, or to book online, you can visit the new CYMFed website by clicking here. |
