Getting your hands on Christian material can be a bit of a struggle. Here's a few suggestions about where you might find some of the stuff that we're talking about at the Youth Ministry Office. Some Christian bookshops might not sell specifically Catholic material, in which case it may be worth checking further afield, or on the net.

Bookshops Outside the Diocese
If you are looking for a Christian bookshop outside this area, try the search function on www.christianbookshops.org.uk
The St Andrew's chain of Christian bookshops, with branches in Maidenhead, Oxford and Witney as well as Great Missenden and Wolverton, are well-stocked with Bibles, books, CD's, cards and gifts.
There is a branch of the McCrimmons Catholic booksellers at the All Saints Pastoral Centre, St Albans (next to SPEC).
In London, you'll find a St Paul's bookshop right next door to Westminster Cathedral. A better stocked one can be found at 199 Kensington High Street, W8 6BA - tel. 020 7937 9591.
You'll also find the NYMO bookstall at most of our events. We tend to carry a selection of these around with us whenever we stage Diocesan or deanery events. |
