Youth Ministry in the Diocese of Northampton is led by a team of people based in Princes Risborough. You can read about the team on their pages on this site.  The NYMO team is chaired by Charles Whitehead, who has been a member since 1997. He also manages Avril, and oversees the work of the office.

Avril Baigent is the Youth Ministry Co-ordinator, responsible for implementing our youth ministry strategy, which is based on the Y-Church Report of which she was the author. She normally works three days a week (Wed - Fri) and oversees the work of the Diocesan Youth Workers for Outreach, Discipleship, and Training (see below). Pam Lewis is our Diocesan Youth Worker for Training and Formation. Pam works throughout the diocese to provide training and networking events, to raise up adult leaders for undertaking youth ministry in parishes. You can email Pam on pam@nymo.org

Neil Roseman is Diocesan Youth Worker for Discipleship. Neil co-ordinates the Lumos weekends, the running of the Salt & Light course and works with specific parishes to support them in developing youth groups. You can email Neil on neil@nymo.org

Liz Clark keeps everyone organised and together, and provides much-needed support (especially with finances) as our Administrator.  Liz also wears other hats in the Diocese, in particular as a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission. You can email Liz on liz@nymo.org

Brin Dunsire is also based in Ker Anna, and works for the Finance team in the Diocese. Brin acts as Funding Adviser for the Youth Ministry Office. He investigates sources of external funding for youth ministry at Diocesan and parish level. He maintains the Funding section of this website. You can email Brin on brin@nymo.org

Youth ministry is principally carried out by enthusiastic volunteers in the parishes. There are four paid 'pastoral assistants' with some responsibility for youth ministry, as well as one full time paid youth co-ordinator at St Joseph's, Gerrards Cross.
