 The Roman Catholic Diocese of Northampton, England, consists of the the civic counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire in southern England, stretching from the western edge of London to the South Midlands.
It also includes part of Berkshire in the area of the town of Slough, and the 'Unitary Authority' towns of Luton and Milton Keynes. The Diocese of Northampton as such has existed since 1850, and until 1976 it also included the counties of Cambridge, Norfolk and Suffolk - now in the Diocese of East Anglia.

There are 70 principal parishes in the Diocese, with some fifty further 'Mass Centres', at subsidiary churches and chapels, chaplaincies, convents, religious houses, and foreign-language churches (Polish, Italian etc).
