At this time of year, it's inevitable that many young people are concerned and anxious about exams and the pressure of decision-making. Below, you'll find a downloadable PowerPoint presentation (and explanatory notes) which reflects on the very real issues surrounding exams, and how we might be comforted by what scripture says about our concerns.
Increasingly, we're being asked to provide ready-to-use PowerPoint presentations for you to look at with the young people you work with. As the guidance notes suggest, it's intended to run with some gentle music in the background (we find chillout / ambient music genres the most suitable), and lasts about 6 minutes.
To use the PowerPoint file, you will need to click 'save as' when you are given the option, and save it somewhere on your own computer. When you open the file, you need to select that you will open it as 'read only', which will allow you to view, but not edit, the show.
If you would like to see further resources like these, please do let Stephanie know by emailing stephanie@nymo.org, and we will do our best to respond to those things that seem to address a particular need. |
