 Having heard of 'festos' through your parish, DYSpatches, postcards or posters or through word of mouth, you may be wondering what to do next to book your young people on this fantastic festival. Well, fear not, here is a step by step guide for you to ensure that no one is disappointed.
Step 1
Contact Liz by phone on 01844 273337 or e-mail liz@nymo.org . She'll make sure you have access to all the forms you require. You can also download them below.
Forms you will require
'Group Booking Form' to be filled in and returned to NYMO
'Young Peoples Attendance List' to be filled in and returned to NYMO
'Young Peoples Permission and Medical Consent Form' ( to be kept by group leader once completed)
Young Peoples Code of Conduct' (also to be kept by the group leader)
Step 2
Fill in the name of your parish or school and your details on the 'Group Booking Form', but dont send it in just yet. Distribute copies of the 'Permission and Medical Consent Form' and the 'Code of Conduct Form' to all the young people you think might like to come to 'festos'. Best to also offer a final date for forms to be returned to you by!
Step 3
Once all young peoples forms have been returned to you, use the information you got of them to fill in the details on the 'Young Peoples Attendance List Form'.
Step 4
Complete the 'Group Booking Form' with the leaders information and the appropriate amount of monies being sent. You should aim to have 1 adult attending for every 10 young people (this can include you). A mixed gender of leaders is preferable. This form (don't foget to signing it!) needs to be sent back to NYMO along with the 'Young Peoples' Attendance List Form' and a cheque of covering the costs of your group.
