Secular Organisations

Amnesty International - have for years fought honourably and effectively for prisoners of conscience around the world. Sadly, they seem recently to be moving towards the viewpoint that the "oppression of women"  includes any restriction on abortion "rights", which means that Catholics need to think hard about supporting them.

Globalissues – informs about social, political, economic and environmental issues that affect us all but often don’t make the headline news..

LIFE - website of one of the leading UK pro-life agencies. See also SPUC's site, which has a very useful analysis of charities according to their observance of pro-life ethical issues such as embryo research, support for euthanasia etc.

Crosspoint - Dutch site with a lot of links on social and discrimination issues.
