A selection of ideas and web resources to help with film-based discussion starters

Film Resources

If your youth group enjoys films, this a selection of film resources, mostly written by the NYMO team, will be something for you.

Make sure to 'screen' your film for violence, swearing or sexual content before considering whether to use it and check out the certificate to see it if is suitable for the age of your young people.

In Autumn 2008 We looked at 3 different films which all feature some saintly theme. For each film you’ll find a brief synopsis and then ideas for discussion based on a clip rather than the whole movie. At the end of each film session there is a brief biography of a Saint that would relate to the theme of the particular film. Film Clips Introduction
